Carlsbad, CA. Art in the Village (Village of Carlsbad, 2 blocks from the beach) on Sunday,  August 8, from 10 to 5. A nice, pleasant show with 200 venders and just two blocks from the beach.

Held the second Sunday in August, Art in the Village highlights fine art, sculpture, photography, ceramics and handmade jewelry, furniture, clothing and wood crafts. Live onstage soft jazz music helps to cultivate a leisurely atmosphere of the arts. Come join us for great place and time to find the finest quality arts and crafts anywhere. FREE.

Palo Alto, CA. 29th Annual Palo Alto Festival of the Arts (University Ave.) on Saturday and Sunday, August 28 and 29, from 10am to 6 pm.

This high-quality show has attracted over 150,000 people every year from throughout California and the West Coast. It takes place on tree-lined University Avenue in downtown Palo Alto.

There will be three hundred fine artists and crafters whose display booths are placed back-to-back along University Avenue.  They also have entertainment, food, and some special attractions.  FREE.

Orange, CA. Orange International Street Fair (Chapman and Glassel Streets)  Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3 to 65  Friday (5pm to 10pm) , Saturday and Sunday (10am to 10pm). The emphasis in this very lively show is the food -- there are MANY different, delightful ethnic foods available. There are also some interesting crafts. FREE.

Mountain View, CA. 38th Annual Art & Wine Festival (Castro St. between El Camino Real and Evelyn Ave.) Sept. 11-12,  10am to 6pm. Summer vacation is over. The kids are back in school. Maybe you’re wrapping up a hectic work week. You could use a nice, relaxing yet fun-filled weekend that won’t break the bank. If a free admission, sun-splashed festival featuring world-class art by 600 of America’s top artists, two days of great music, fabulous food and drink, home and garden exhibits, health and wellness displays, an organic and green products showcase and tons of fun for kids sounds good to you, then head to downtown Mountain View. FREE.

Danville, CA. 19th Annual Danville Fall Crafts Festival (Hartz Ave.) Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 23-24, 10am to 5 pm.  This show features a  "home town" parade (Saturday, 10 a.m.), Safe Trick or Treating, kids activities, quality art and crafts displayed by over 200 artisans, and a friendly wine & beer garden. FREE.

Tubac, AZ. 51st Annual Tubac Festival of the Arts.  Feb. 10 to 14.  Hundreds of artists, craftsmen, and musicians from  around the country.

Irwindale, CA.  48th Annual Renaissance Pleasure Faire.     (Santa Fe Dam). Open from 10 am to 7 pm  weekends from April 10 through May 23. This annual event is much more than a crafts show. It’s great entertainment for the entire family and includes stage plays, rides, and lots of folks in costume.  Many people attend just for the food.   Admission is $25, children $15 (5 to 12), parking $8.

Malibu, CA.   39th Annual Malibu Arts Festival (23555 Civic Center Way)  Saturday and Sunday, July 24 and 25 from 10 am to 6 pm.  This large show has over 200 artists, plus music, kids events, and a food court.  Lots of fun for everyone, and it's Free.
